Ever felt like you are facing a giant? The more you look at the problem, the bigger it becomes and you feel your faith shrink under the weight of it. It’s no secret why that happens. You are magnifying it. If you feed your mind on the problem it will only grow bigger until it becomes an impossible undertaking.
Fear is a pesky thing that has a habit of stifling the memory of the amazing things God has done in the past.
It loves to drown out the power of God’s Word until it becomes almost inaudible. While fear may make things seem daunting, it can never fully snuff out the power of the Word. All it takes is a believer speaking it in faith and fear goes running for dear life. It’s actually quite comical if you think about it.
Speaking of which, laughter is one of the best weapons against any giant you face. The Joy of the Lord is one of the worst things the enemy hates because at its core, it is grounded in unshakable faith. You can enjoy life free from worry knowing that God takes care of you.
Joy and praise go hand in hand. In fact, praise is what releases the joy fountain you have inside you! Frequently in the Psalms the phrase, “sing for joy” is used. If you want your joy to flow, start singing! The best praise a believer can offer is in faith, standing on the Word in the midst of a challenge before you see any manifestation.
Anytime you face a giant that seems bigger than you can handle, turn your magnifier to God and His Word. Begin to praise Him for the things He is actively working on your behalf and see Him large in your mind!
Declare The Word:
I WILL praise the Lord at ALL times! I will CONSTANTLY speak His praises! I will boast ONLY IN THE LORD! I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me! He freed me from ALL MY FEARS!
