God delivered me from the spirit of fear. There was a season in my life where I used to feel very fearful, nervous, and experience anxiety. I couldn't exactly pinpoint why I was feeling that way, but I kept praying and pursing God—asking for His help and deliverance. I learned about how He never gives, and will never give me a spirit of fear. I received prayer and revelation that God loves me and in His love there is nothing to fear.
First John 4:18 says, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." I also learned about 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control."
I don't ever have to be afraid because God loves me and will never give me a spirit that makes me afraid and in bondage. His perfect love casts out all fear and He has delivered me! I give Him all praise and glory!
